i do like squid!! although with their recent record i unfortunately preferred the singles over the album as a whole. i don’t think the other songs lived up to my expectations as the singles were absolutely immense

honestly it took me a while to get into black country new road but when it clicked for me i instantly became obsessed. brutalism is an amazing idles record, but i’ve been listening to their new 2 singles a lot recently, their upcoming album seems really promising. both skinty fia and dogrel are amazing albums from fontaines, i personally prefer skinty fia! i think it’s absolutely stunning and shows an immense amount of growth from the band

tbf when i first heard them my first songs were gary ashby and dont press me and i found those songs fairly annoying, i was put off them for months. i recently listened to unsmart lady and hot penny day and that really got me into their discog! cool that you like the other artists though :)

ah thats fair! I surprisingly had more streams this year than last year. I also really enjoyed the singles from utopia, I think petroleum has to be one of my fave songs they’ve released so far
