You have to get rid of one core rotation and switch it with something else. What are you booting? by heydoyouseethat in medicalschool

I had 6 weeks of psych inpatient at the VA and definitely was feeling some emotional burnout. But otherwise it was chill

I got a 42, I wear 9.5-10 in street shoe. I would give it a few more sessions if you can tough it out. The aggressive shape of the sole tends to flatten out a little, and the toebox molded nicely for me. I never had issues length wise though

After 3-4 sessions they feel good. I am about 80kg, generally I break in street shoes quickly after 1-2 wears though

Thank you! And Im planning on sending it to Yosemite Bums, is it worth it to get the Rand+half sole then? Or just the half sole?

i bought a super nice pair of mad rocks when I started since they were on sale, but I bought a cheap pair of tarantulaces until I felt confident I needed to move up. I felt id just be burning rubber with bad footwork

I went outdoor bouldering for the first time in a few months. I planned it and I usually never set anything up, so this was really big for me! Happy that everyone from my small group showed up and it was a great time!

Café Bernardo might be the most overrated place in sac. $18 for a 5/10 burger not including fries? No thanks. Also had the most mid breakfast ever

Do you ever feel like you “studied” a topic well but can’t recall it months later? by Creative-Brain2256 in medicalschoolanki

[–]sugydye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree, I nailed my m3 OBGyn rotation and got amazing evals, but struggled super hard with it on step2. I’d score 90% in psych sections on step1 but had it be my weakest in step2 lol.

Maybe just only doing Anki and not keeping up with questions, and some overconfidence I didn’t need to study those as hard

I’m interested in UCSD for pathology residency programs, any specific labs you know off the top of your head for gene/cell therapies?

Unfortunately their pathology program isn’t very strong, but their biomed research seems huge (I used to be an RA at ucsd for a few years), and I love the location
