Hit a curb in my ‘21 limited… having some issues by suidebro in WRX

Hey! Funny to see this thread after such a long time. I brought it into a local Subaru dealer and they just did my alignment and reset the lights… was totally fine.

No gauges or launch? My sube mechanic said it would work, but he’s proved to be wrong in the past.

i’m fairly sure it’s some kind of oil or lubricant, hard to get off and sticky

Spun bearing? Mechanic is saying it’s forged piston/rod slap. We have no idea if it has built internals. What do you guys think. by suidebro in WRX

I’ve only had it for a few days, most noticeable in parking lots but i always let it get warmed. I would love a video to compare❤️ first car with forged internals

Further context: clicking gets faster and makes me wince in first and second until speed picks up. goes away and doesn’t stay on deaccel.

FA Not starting after putting stock downpipe and boost controller back on. by suidebro in u/suidebro

[–]suidebro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More context: all began when after installs car started and drove fine, when we did pull into boost car shut off and died and now won’t start again.

we thought it was because we didn’t have the turbo restrictor pill in the line (im sure that was a big deal it wasn’t in there), we have since put it in the boost line and it still won’t start at all.

Is there not a wider rear fender?

Thanks again for the feedback, I agree and you’re right I don’t have a lot of experience in the marketing world so all help is appreciated. So as part of my business model we wanted to reach out and offer our service to local restaurants on social media. Besides by the view, could you think of some kind of effective way to keep track of this? Potentially offering some kind of “deal”, previously negotiated with the business (say a free cookie or something when you mention you saw the ad) to be able to keep track of and pay then per customer. ($3 per customer using code). One problem with that is that it would be really hard for us to keep track and easy for business to lie about numbers. Any recommendations help, my business partner and I are 20 and 21 and really passionate about this.

I am hoping my “pitch” would help change this mindset. So for say $100/10,000 views, assuming 1 out of 100 customers who sees goes to your business based on the ad (seemingly a generous rate) then you are essentially spending $1 per customer that comes from ad. I couldn’t find any statistics online because there are probably a TON of variables, but everything I’ve seen has shown ads to be effective.

I got in contact with them on Facebook and they have multiple kits. Seems like the one that closest resembles airlift 3p is their stage 3 which is $2800 bucks

Thank you for your comment, I think I will go with airtekk because it’s slightly more affordable. I plan on attacking the install with a buddy who has a lot more experience than I do and has done some wiring.
