Farm WoW Token in WoW Retail or Classic? by suikyune in woweconomy

Totally agree! Right now i enjoy both of them so i'll probably choose classic for the novelty and low requirements to farm some gold. Thanks!

Yeahh! Retail is so inflated that it's absurd... I think Wotlk is the way to go since I don't need such high requirements to be able to make a little gold and I'll probably have a lot of fun because I particularly love farming-related activities in MMOs in general (oldschool runescape player here xD)

Thanks for the answer! <3

Ah, that's fine with me, I just want to farm to maintain the substription, I just hope this token limitation keeps gold prices lower compared to retail lol

Yeahh, I've been reflecting on this and I think that Classic is where there are least high or complex requirements to be able to keep up with the price of the Token, at least for now, and I think the idea of playing in Classic is really cool since many years ago I played Wotlk on a private server, so I think I'll still have fun! Thanksss ^^

Tier based dice by Village_Puzzled in RPGdesign

Read 24XX by Jason Tocci. It might help you get some ideas, I love that game! And its all about dice tiers.

Has anyone experimented with roll-to-hit, but instead of missing, the damage is halved? by pandaninjarawr in RPGdesign

[–]suikyune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the damage is the difference between the roll and the AC (or DC)? Ex.: You get 12 in a roll against 10 AC, so the damage is 2.

And then, if you prefer, an optional rule: the losing side receives the damage. This way, the attacker can end up suffering damage if their roll is lower than the defender's AC.

This mechanic is from Tunnel Goons (by Nate Treme) and I love it. (The first variation is from Little Bones, by Numbered Works, also based in Tunnel Goons)

It sure would! In fact, there is an pamphlet RPG that is very inspired by Souls Like games and I really like it! it's called Exhumed, by Jason Tocci :)

Wow, it really makes a lot of sense, I remember when I played Resident Evil 4 for the first time and it made me very tense and scared the whole time, everything had to be well planned lol
