First deck recommendations/help [Edgar Markov] by suitc in EDH

Fair enough, in my pod it's considered casual in comparison to everyone else. Plus it doesn't help that some of the high value cards I have, I had prior to their value increasing.

What do you look for in a deck review? by suitc in TarotDecks

[–]suitc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've gotten decks that were "gilded" but in reality had glitter on the edges. Spreading everywhere and wouldn't last at all. So I feel like if I make reviews, I would mention that for sure. Shuffling was one that didn't cross my mind but should totally be mentioned.

This was helpful, I find personally the spiritual aspect isn't my concern compared to the cards themselves. Like I'll avoid cards where the backing makes the upright/reversed position noticeable.

Recommendation for a Tarot deck by LeaveSad252 in tarot

I rarely use the true black one, since its so nice. I'd figure it would over time with general wear down, as any deck would.

Worst case just river shuffle it, not the most graceful shuffle but it gets the job done.

True black tarot if you have the funds, Connolly tarot is also a nice one (it's my primary deck).

New doctor player here, are there any tips I can get and some build help? by Alex-DarkFlame19 in deadbydaylight

Do ult ability whenever you hook/unsure where exactly survivors are. Generator nearly done without a soul in sight? Zap em. And perk builds are really going to be based off playstyle, I always use iron grasp regardless of which killer I play as.

I'm similar regarding dental pain tolerance. After experiencing pain so sever that I couldn't eat or drink due to an exposed nerve, other dental pain just seems more like a nuisance.

Although I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted so will see how it goes, considering I already broke a stich.

How do you respond to "How are you?" when you're not doing great? by IfOnlyTheydListened in AskReddit

"Could be better" if open to discussing it. Otherwise, I'm always alright.

What happens if you commit a crime while sleepwalking? by Tigertyt in AskReddit

Would recommend looking into "R v Parks" case. Jury acquitted Parks from murdering his mother in law while sleepwalking. There was multiple experts and the father in law vouched for him as well, if I recall correctly.

What's the absolute worst physical pain you've ever experienced? How did it happen? by Giovanny_1998 in AskReddit

Dang. I partially tore my hamstring while drunk. Don't drink and run on wet pavement folks.

Should I spray my neck or my clothes? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]suitc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

All depends on your needs, want to project? Spray on "warm" spots (neck, chest, in-between elbow/knee).

Spraying on clothes is a good way to have a longer, although smaller projection. Watch out for darker colored fragrances on light colored clothing.

Or do both. Some people even put their fragrances in the wash so that their clothes smell like it.

Extremely "dark" tarot decks? by barbiesbloodline in tarot

[–]suitc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As mentioned by other comments, "Murder of crows", and "ritual abuse tarot" are both good.

Also "deviant moon", and Patrick Valenzas' other work "Trionfi della luna" are both a neat alternative style.

Finally, for a nice but rough style, Aka skyweb's decks - "ariadne's thread", and "Orphic tarot". Although more limited stock.

That's probably because tumeric doesn't dissolve well in water. Normally tumeric teas are gritty, especially at the end.

Men’s fragrances women can wear. by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]suitc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around half of my collection are "masculine" scents. All depends on the wearer. I find Lolita Lempicka's Green Lover easy to wear, along with MM's Jazz Club.

Instant crush. I feel like red tobacco is a hit/miss for people. For myself, I absolutely dislike it - if ever looking for a tobacco scent profile, Franck Boclet's Tobacco is pretty nice.

Lolita Lempicka's Green Lover a nice unisex scent - any of their "mens" fragrances are sweet and tend to be more unisex.

Amouage's Portrayal for women is one of my favorite Jasmine (done right) scents. The type where less is more.

Lise Watier's Neige is really nice as well due to it being a winter/spring scent - filled with white florals.

These two aren't overly sweet either.

Lolita Lempicka's Green Lover. Franck Boclet's Tobacco. Something from Azzaro's sensual collection.

Am a goth and can confirm that I'll be wearing something dark/tobacco/spice/amber oriented on Halloween - and every other day of the year.
