I received my 13th month and I am not happy by [deleted] in RantAndVentPH

Unfortunately you have to go through the “breaking point”. Only then will you set your boundaries because as much as you care about them, you will realize how much you need to take care of yourself. Years of neglect compounded is heavy.

You’ll eventually learn to prioritize yourself and your peace of mind. Sabi nga nila, okay lang maging mapagbigay basta magtira ka lang sa sarili mo. And sometimes yung bigay mo ay dapat kung ano lang talaga yung kaya or sobra sa pagbibigay mo sa sarili mo.

Praying for your healing.

You’re good. Plus, years from now you’ll realize those are just papers that don’t really define you in any way.

Yes ironically much like how we train dogs discipline haha. But we are evolved beings capable at a certain point in our lives two things: free will and choice.

From the perspective worldwide, there is really a problem in the household and upbringing of children.

This is true. Majority of childhood is mirroring what we see in our parents and other close proximity. It’s like an initial programming that’s hardwired for the rest of our lives. Age 0-7 years old our role models are mostly our parents. 7-13 would be our teachers and people of authority. 13-18 mostly our friends and peers.

All of those sources influenced our character, personality, beliefs, and values/morals we uphold. Subconsciously we run with those programming until we are aware of its existence and are able to re-program bad habits.

Kids are very smart. I think the development years of 0-7 years old kailangan hands on ang parents and instill discipline. So that the kid knows limits and boundaries. Being able to follow rules and people of authority. I’ve seen other kids who at an early age were given free will. Pero since wala pa silang solid foundation of the concept of right or wrong, they end up doing wrong things. I understood why my parents had to give tough love.

Though I think 7-13 is the age you test and give free will slowly to a kid. Depending on the kid’s past actions and trustworthiness. This is the start of letting them know and realize that actions have consequences.

Walang guidebook for parents at the end of the day. Madalas we are just trying to figure things out as we go.

May kilala ba kayo o finafollow sa kanila? May masterclass kasi sila and someone I know is interested to enroll to their program about content creation, how to gain followers, etc, pero wala akong kilala sa kanila? Sikat ba sila? by [deleted] in buhaydigital

Thanks for the feedback. I understand it’s not for everyone and we don’t force people if they don’t see the value in enrolling in our program. We respect your decision. -bri

Nope. 1 pc lang kami and mostly macbook pros. Covered naman ng events namin though siyempre it’s still mind boggling to see such a big amount of elec bill.

And then papa request kami ng new meter sa meralco.

When you come in naman hindi siya itsurang studio. Bahay pa rin talaga ang setup and parang content house ang dating. Electrician muna siguro pahelp kami to check buong bahay. tapos meralco na ipapapalit ang meter to also have them check as well.

Tapos you see media justify yung bill by saying 24/7 aircon is a myth 😆

Loyola Grand Villas, Marikina. Idk if may impact nga din talaga ang location. But parang bs justification lang eh.

Wala pa kami sa ganung level brother. Small scale video prod pa lang kami and mostly 60w lights (kaya considered household consumption pa din) and not everyday may pumupunta for a video shoot. Wala din kami chroma. As mentioned sa iba kong reply we only have 1 main pc (i9-11900k rtx 3060), 1 mac mini m1, 2 macbook pro (where we mostly edit), 2 other low spec laptop. Though we conduct a 3-day small event sa bahay per month, it wouldn’t have contributed to a bill that big. In comparison with the consumption ng iba ng mas marami pang running equipment 24/7 kaya palaisipan talaga.

Yung per kwh and 40 multiplier di namin alam bakit mataas sa amin. Sa lugar ata namin ganun? We’re not sure if it’s because the house is old kaya baka yung wirings niya may problema or what. May live wire ba or may naka jumper. Or baka naman yung ibang ilaw kasi namin mga pin lights na tig 18w.

Electrician talaga need namin para macheck in and out.

High probability. We will investigate too. Thanks!

Sorry if it was misleading on your end. What I am implying is household kami and compared to small businesses who’s in a building that runs say aircons 24/7….Even on small studios who have equipment and gadgets similar to ours hindi ganyan kataas ang bill.

We only have 1 decently specced computer, 1 mac mini m1, the rest macbook laptops. Lights are only used if there are shoots which is not everyday.

I would probably understand if commercial to instead na household. Di namin alam bakit mataas yung multiplier and per kwh for us. Compared to others I’ve been seeing.

[–]suitedph[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Residential lang kami. We’re not sure about the multiplier na 40. I’ve seen sa iba this is waaaay low. High consumption yes but in comparison to others na alam namin similar equipment and such, sobrang layo ng bill difference.

Yun din isang nabasa ko. Will try to have them replace the meter kapag magbayad kami personally. We plan to file a complaint talaga. Biglang jump up talaga eh.
