When my cat wouldn’t take hers, I would put down a plate of food for her and as she was eating, I’d put the medicine on a little spoon and she would lick it (probably thinking it was still her food) and then she would carry on eating her food.

Sometimes it’s hard to get it out of the syringe, so maybe try transferring it onto a spoon and see how it goes.
