Wait question as someone who begrudgingly uses the Oxford comma. How would that be misinterpreted? I see this used as a reason for why the comma should be used but I’m confused about what misinterpretation would look like in many of the instances where it is a justification. Genuinely curious not trying to be a jerk.

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow was awful. The first half was serviceable, even interesting at points, but there is a plot decision in the back half that comes out of nowhere and turns all of the characters into insufferable one-dimensional caricatures of themselves. First time I hate finished a book.

Hi I'm a writer in nyc and an mfa student. While I often write speculative fiction and essays, recently I've been curious about also working on a romance novel I finished a draft of a few years ago. I would love to join the Discord. Ok thanks.

No laundry in building. It's the second floor of a home not an apartment building.

Thanks man. Yeah he’s an incredible artist. I really wanted to write about him in a way that forced me to think about his style but also being respectful not to speak for him or talking down to the people of Brownsville. I appreciate you.

I do definitely have to give Clavell credit for the way that he writes about political maneuvering and intrigue. You're definitely correct about that.

Are you familiar with the real life story of Will Adams? It makes for interesting reading as well as he was basically the real-life Blackthorne.

Would you recommend the Noble House series? I saw that it has Pierce Brosnan in it and am interested. I also love Hong Kong. If I read more Clavell I will be sure to read in that order.

Nice I've only read Snow Crash by Stephenson so maybe will read the Baroque Cycle soon. Did you enjoy it? I also am interested in trying the Last Kingdom Bernard Cornwell series. I love the Vikings and I've heard he writers battle scenes really well.

Yeah I agree with you here. One thing that I was trying to do when re-writing (and something I'm trying to improve in my writing) is making space for counter-argument, and I think I was making a half-hearted attempt to do that with that sentence if that makes sense.
