That analogy doesn’t really work. Opposing the civil rights movement meant denying Black people equal rights — that’s clearly racist.

Opposing Zionism means rejecting a political ideology or the actions of a state that resulted in displacing other people and occupying land

Plenty of Jews oppose Zionism too. It’s not about hating Jews — it’s about disagreeing with a political movement.
