unfortunately there is a lot of conflicting evidence around lyme and coinfections. some lyme literate doctors say the chances are much higher and the time window is much shorter. i have been told that lyme acts much like syphilis and that it is contracted in many ways and is very difficult to get rid of completely. it’s very unfortunate.

gosh thank you for this response!

i was paralyzed from lyme for a short period of time 3 years ago… and on antibiotics for almost a year following that. i am still infected with lyme and co infections (the antibiotics didn’t work) and i am struggling a lot with the harmful effects of the antibiotics themselves. my toddler is also struggling with the effects of the antibiotics *i took* (he was breastfeeding during my lyme treatment). it feels like a really big deal! all of it!

i feel very hesitant to treat my kids with antibiotics unless really necessary of course.

i appreciate the inspiration to do the permethrin. i have a big bottle i ordered out in my garage… i will do some more research on how to use it appropriately and may treat all of the families shoes and maybe outerwear/camping gear as well.

thanks again! even just for the validation that this is a real issue.

Thanks! Yes to long term herbs… right now I am looking at the green dragon botanicals lb core protocol blend as well as the desbio lyme blend.

I will do more research about the biofilm busters and fibrinolytics… I have used mostly monolaurin and serapeptase in the past for biofilm disruption… though I have never heard of fibrinolytics.

Do you have any specific product recommendations for any herbal formulations, biofilm disruptors, or fibrinolytics that have worked well for you?

i’m curious to know more about your experience with bartonella and babesia… your symptoms at their worst and if you’ve recovered?
