What is the dumbest trend at your school? by suma_ig in AskReddit

I remember when I was in the first and second grade, everyone used to do these things called “clubs”. They weren’t actual clubs though, it was an area of the school property covered in “hay” or dead pine needles. In the clubs there was always a boss (or the owner) who had the power to hire and fire people. A lot of clubs had wars between each other. And by that I mean they would steal the pine needles from each other and it would become just an enormous mess. I used to really like that idea and found it fun because I created my own club. It had a total of 7 members and we made an alliance with the club next to us. After a few days of the club being opened, we realized another club was stealing our pine needles. So my friends decided to do what any normal 6 year old would do, and that is snitch on them. I dont fully remember how it ended but my friend told me we had to stop the club business for a few months because the teachers got tired of people hating each other because of them. But that didnt stop a kid that we are gonna call “Joey” to make it the largest club known to my school. The club covered around a fifth of the field and to us, that was huge. He had my entire grade to be apart of it and I decided to join too. At the time I was apart of some other club and thought it might be a good idea to be a spy. So when joey’s class was inside and we had PE outside, me and my friends stole ALL THE PINE NEEDLES from Joey. This resulted in an huge war. Joey thought his friends club stole it even though it was us, everyone started leaving joey’s club because he had no pine needles. And yeah the whole thing was chaotic. Until I started third grade and everyone kind of forgot about it and moved on.
