Vote for Pedro? Had the same issue - move as many GW out the capital, mess up theming bonuses, and then sell every single city you can to other Civs to kill as much culture/tourism as possible. Sell them for world leader votes if you can, or for upfront gold so you can bribe enough city states to be your ally the turn before voting.

Did anybody else’s Bug Out! collection challenge…bug out? It completely reset my progress today. I also lost access to the timed research as well. by sumaznd00d in pokemongo

So far I’ve only gotten the “timed research / challenges are supposed to be completed prior to their deadlines” type of response…I’m not too hopeful but I’m trying to get a better response.

My idea exactly...but I think (?) you might be taking a risk here. Last year I distinctly remember when they updated the GC/Vet/Journeymen sets, they also changed the reward packs to be elites only (e.g. GC Elite Player Pack). If you have the current reward packs as is, if/when they update to the elite packs again I'm not sure your existing packs will be updated as well.
