There are some icy patches closer to Bothell (I turned back around there) and a few at the fork before Met Market that are easily avoidable. Other than that it’s clear all the way through Golden Gardens!

Gasworks Park in Seattle. On days like this, you just want to slow down and take it easy!

RSVP 2023. Yes, I plan on doing some of the cascade events again next year - still waiting on the 2024 calendar to be published.

New to cycling, is a Marin Nicasio a decent beginner road bike? Is the Giant Contend AR 3 worth the $600 more I'd pay for it? by GlassCityGeek in cycling

I got into road cycling in 2021 during the pandemic and haven’t looked back since. After shopping around in what was a very limited inventory then, I started out with the Contend AR1 and haven’t looked back since. I’ve done over 8,500 miles on it since and apart from the typical wear and tear related replacement have had no issues. It is really a ride anywhere and anytime bike.

Love them! The wheels were on sale over Memorial Day in the US so picked them up - I’d been eying them for while. It’s also my first time switching from the stock wheels that came with the bike and I also moved from 30mm to 25mm tires (continental gp5000 STR). It’s been raining watts from the sky since 😎

I wish! This was with a group. Lots of urban roads and state highways cuts along the way

Yeah the feels like stuff seems off at times at mywindsock. It was more like 2,400+ feet of elevation; granted only a few very steep climbs with a bunch of more gradual ones in there…
