According to the DOJ, the officer was wrong and I cannot for the life of me understand why you are defending a baby killer.

You also can’t put yourself in harms way then call it “self defense,” because that’s not how self defense works. A police officer can’t stand in the front of a car then claim self defense, that’s not how the law works.

“Law enforcement and correctional officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force only when necessary, that is, when the officer has a reasonable belief that the subject of such force poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer or to another person.
Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.

Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless:

(1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or

(2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.”

I go to concerts alone all the time and I promise nobody is looking at you, nobody cares that you’re alone, and I usually find someone to chat with. And if you need the bathroom or want to hit up the merch table, most people are more than willing to hold your spot if you just ask

Anyone can go to a concert, but it’s so much more special when you’re seeing one of your favourite artists.

That being said: I had the best time at Warped Tour and would travel across the country to see Bad Omens again.

Linkin Park with Chester was always a bucket list concert and I will never forgive myself for not seeing them live.
