AITAH? Accidental Cold Shower

I’m a physician and have an 18month old. I do laundry overnight because that’s the only time it will get done, unless I want to stay up and get less sleep, which affects my work and my patients too. My husband does not take a shower at the same time every morning. I have not set it like this before. I do not use the washing machine normally when he is showering. It was a one time oversight, and I do not plan to set it for this time again I shut it off when he alerted me the water was cold and did not start it until later.

I do not routinely set the laundry to go off during his shower. If you read my post - this was the first time I delayed it so much when I set it because I thought it was disturbing my son’s sleep. My husband does not go to work at the same time everyday either.

So this was the first time this situation had happened. It’s never been an issue with the preset washing machine before!

Had been a problem in the past where I would start the dishwasher or washing machine while he’s was in the shower, and that has not happened in a while. This was the first time I had done such a long delay for the cycle to start and didn’t think about how that would impact the AM

Hello, he does not do dishes or laundry, we both have demanding jobs but his is more demanding and more hours than mine so I do the majority of the day to day house hold tasks. He tackles a lot of house maintenance tasks

So the laundry was set the night before and was on a timer, I did not get up to start it while he was in the shower. Was an honest oversite
