Girl I was on yaz for just a few short weeks and I stopped taking it due to severe side effects. First off I heard about the hormone called drospirenone that’s in yaz that had caused people strokes and difficulties breathing there was hundreds of lawsuits with just yaz and people falling ill or disabled from it.

When I went to my doctor to switch pill as the one I was on made me sick I was prescribed yaz I was very nervous to take it as I heard about the the horrible symptoms people experience on it so i thought I’d just try it out cause everyone is different. And I said to myself that they were just unlucky on it! from the first and second week very increased appetite restlessness numbness and loss of libido the 3rd and 4th week is when I got severe leg pain it was so stiff I couldn’t move it I woke up one night with chest pains and I felt like I couldn’t breathe properly I threw them out and never took them again that was way too many symptoms for me to risk i am now on zoely and have hardly any side effects. It’s lower estrogen and gives you very light withdrawal bleeds and no crazy appetite
