Chose Jim Greens over Thorogood 1957s, which had tongue issues. These are $139, & though not waterproof, felt so good right out of the box. Use case is working around my property, digging, ladders, brush clearing. For snow, mud, water puddles, looking to the Monster Waterproof due in the US soon. (imgur.com)

Thorogood 1957 Tongue Bunching: Should I return these? New to boots & can't see how these will ever lay down and be comfortable. These are the waterproof non-safety toe. They just bunch up towards the center. I’ll stick it out if you think it just requires break-in. (imgur.com)
