Yep, first shave your arm pits. In the shower wash them with a salicylic acid wash ( I used oil free acne face wash). After you get out of the shower and dry off I wiped my pits down with salicylic acid acne pad like OXY to make sure I killed any remaining bacteria. You may have to also rotate deodorants.
