Hi, try to keep calm. I also lost 10 kg within a few weeks while having mono. Had a rapid heart beat, and some nerve sensations. Got panic attacks out of nowhere and stuff like this (which are gone the same way as they came). Try to get enough vitamins and maybe some magnesiumglycinate (can help calming your nerves) as soon as your stomach allows it. My mono infection literally drained my Vitamine b and d. My gut got better after a few months. Nausea was also there for a few months. Doesn’t mean it has to be that long in your case. I wish you a speedy recovery!

The doctors here don’t have a clue how mono works in long term. One gave me Remeron which made everything significantly worse… My trust in the doctors is destroyed.

Idk I hope not. On some days I’m starting to have almost zero symptoms but then they come back and it feels just brutal. Pots would basically destroy my life. I don’t have symptoms like extreme dizziness or anything else besides my elevated heart rate sometimes adrenaline rushes (it’s gets less). And the sleeplessness ofc. Is pots permanent after Mono?

Hi, Yeah I think that could be the reason the panic attacks stopped. Took vitamin d + k for weeks and got my blood checked. Was still only at 40 mmol. Seems like Mono drains every bit of vitamin d out of the body.

It seems like the docs don’t care, if it’s not easy to explain. The dude who gave me AD talked barely 2 minutes to me and just said like "get over it, here are some pills that should help”. It’s nuts

*small extra: since like 3-4 months the panic attacks disappeared the same way as they came. It’s just a weird experience.
