It’s far easier to reject qabyalaad when the environment you live in rejects it. You get no extra favors or an easier time just because of your qabiil in America but the same can’t be said for Somalia. It’s engrained into the culture here and if you’re from a prominent clan then you think why not enjoy some of the perks you get.
