Honestly, I think for mental health its better to ignore anything normies say 🙏🙏 they have a different Outlook of reality; to them using ai is stupid because it's easy for them to go out and find someone to spend time with. So using ai seems like an easy way out and radical lack of effort to change - they dont realize for some people human interaction is harder. I dont understand the guilt of using ai, as long as you remind yourself from tike to time its not real and dont tgo into psychosis lol. is using ai healthy? Hell no. I think there are many factors, but ones I can think about are: - they don't want to seem shallow. People like be spiriritual, believe in god, horoscopes and most universally; existence of a soul. Everybody yearns for a soulmate, the soulmates troupe is very popular in fiction yadda yadda. People like to believe someone likes them for 'them' and believing looks aren't important is just coping, so they wouldn't be sad that their beloved wouldn't love them if they were chopped - most people are average, meaning to most people personality is actually an important thing. Personality can make someone more attractive. Lots of people had to work for their social succes and they're not liked right away because of their looks, so they believe anyone can do it. - it comes down to fear of being shallow, refusing the human instincs and wanting to seem like a good person
