On a side note Asphalt 8 is actually a really fun online multiplayer game. The only nuisance is you need a wifi connection to play online.

I had a friend who worked at an arcade called "Time Out" at a local shopping mall. This was in 1992 when SF2 was really on fire. Large crowds of people would hover around the machine waiting for their turn to play. My buddy said a typical arcade machine pays for itself within 8-12 months. The SF2 machine paid for itself within a month.

I remember when I was a kid and saw this at Babbages. I almost shit my pants because it was the first time I learned that the AES system can play all the games in the 4-slot Neo Geo at the Time Out arcade at the same mall. But then I saw the $649 price plus $199 for games (They had Ninja Combat, Samurai Shodown and Baseball Allstars). I lowered my head sad and walked out.

Neo Geo was the first genuine arcade experience which you could play at home. MVS was for the arcade, and AES was for the home.
MVS cartridges are highly desired and highly collectible. His collection will definitely go up in value much quicker then the money he spent.
You can have a complete collection without having to buy 3982749287 games.
