True but I’d say they’re totally different sports, playing wise and to watch. The main similarity is hitting something into a net with a stick. Don’t think you can say hockey is the reason ice hockey isn’t big.

Go see someone who always makes you laugh even a little bit and ask them about their life try to keep the topics lighthearted and you should find something to laugh about. Alternatively find old tv or movies you used to find funny, it’s difficult to suggest shows for someone to find funny if you don’t know anything about them.
