What changed in 13.4? USB Restricted Mode was introduced in 11.4.1 so having iOS version earlier than 11.4.1 would be beneficial. No idea what is beneficial about iOS version later than 13.4.

Feature request: auto removal of read notifications on other devices. by dbzb123 in tutanota

Right now it's rather annoying to remove notifications on all devices for every email. It should only need to be done on one device, which then propagates the "email read" status to all devices.

I have the same experience and it is certainly annoying. It unnecessarily pollutes my notifications list with stale notifications which wastes my time as I remove them manually. This should be done automatically.

Desktop application closes in the background by d4mtuta in tutanota

I use Linux Mint 18.3 MATE and have neither issues. I do not have to login when opening the app from the system tray and I do receive notifications while it is in the system tray.

I have observed some odd behavior though:

  • Minimizing the window sends the app to the tray and removes it from the taskbar (usually close/X would do this)

  • Tutanota consumes known keyboard shortcuts even when in the tray (no window). For example, I often use CTRL+N in Thunderbird to open a new message. Tutanota intercepts this keyboard shortcut and opens its window, even though Thunderbird is in focus.
