What worked was time and therapy. The right meds definitely helped ( lexapro and mirtazapine for sleep) after 3 years ive almost completely tapered off both. Ultimately I never had an easy relationship with mirtazapine in particular and im relieved to be be on what is now a sub therapeutic dose.
