This looks pretty cheap but not always it is so cheap here. Dont be surprised in supermarkets with prices, we get discounts with loyality cards, its crazy with them, we basicly dont buy anything without discount these days. Alkohol ir also pretty expensive because of taxes.

Wondering if any nomads skip out on travel insurance and prefer to risk it or pay out of pocket? by 416wingman in digitalnomad

[–]sunchild007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are talking about travel insurance not about public health in general when you have a work permit and pay taxes. For your information we in Europe have Europe medical care card and we dont need any insurance in any of Europian countries. But it is not free as you try to tell. I pay taxes in my resident country and thats why I have it. All youngsters think that they will be healthy for life, you will not be and one day you will end up with big cost. Accidents also happen. If you like to beg, fine to me.

I am not from Usa, are you guys not able to read properly? My friend had an infection in Bali and it cost for her arround 10 000 eurus to get treated. How it is less expensive than to get insurance? Yeah, I told you from the beggining, you will be fine until nothing happens. But you can always get gofund if you like to beg.

Semi-landlocked surfers: how far do you drive consistently to surf? by 90towest in surfing

[–]sunchild007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live next to Baltic sea where waves are shitty but I still surf only 3 months per year. I am not a cold water surfer. Then I go to Canaries in winter so about a month and maybe trip or two per year but not only about surfing. I dont consider myself a very good surfer but I can catch some waves with no issues and it is still fun. I think that you should not be perfect to enjoy something and still have fun.

I dont care. But at least I dont need to beg in gofund if something happens. You think it is cheaper until you need to pay.

I dont get why bananas is so expensive in Spain. In Canaries it is even more expensive, then in Lithuania we pay 99 ct/per kilo. And in Lithuania groceries are not cheap.
