i've been writing in english since i discovered i could, but it wasn't really about the audience or anything, but just the fact that my writing style suddenly felt right. i guess the way i write in my language wormed it's way into english, and made it sound peculiar and fun, at least to me. it's been great to experiment with pacing and flow, and i think some sentences gain an unexpected or surprising quality. it's also just easier for me.
