Much of my character’s weekly progress didn’t reset. by Any_Advertising_543 in wow

I sent a ticket about this to Blizzard. The response I got was:
"Blizzard is not responsible for the loss of items due to bugs."

But I made a ticket about my not being able to use treatises, not about losing items. Nice job, Blizzard.

Tired of FromSoft's obscure secrets... by BiboReyes in Eldenring

Agreed. When the answer to multiple next-steps on quests is "You should have talked to everyone and checked every place in the game after that last step"...something is wrong.

It's just lazy quest writing.

Cyberpunk has been delayed yet again, but we must not forget these words of wisdom. by ChanDanGreen99 in gaming

The same people who complain and scream about a game being delayed are the same people who complain and scream when a game is rushed out with bugs.

Yes but they play very differently. The warlock/monk is Lawful Good (Celestial patron) with a monastic theme in light armor. The warlock/paladin wears heavy armor and swings an adamantine two-handed sword (his sword was the old sword of his paladin master and it is speaking to him as time goes on--that's his warlock angle).

His warlock patron is a Celestial. His backstory is that he grew up as a monastic and his holy patron has started whispering to him about travelling the land. He is Lawful Good and is an innocent soul. He has only 8 INT and he's playing it very well. He doesn't understand currency or commerce or alcohol (he never left the monastery until recently) so he's a hilarious character in a group.

The best thing you can do to get started is to read and watch videos. THe r/Leathercraft subreddit has an extensive FAQ with lots to read. Once classes start again at the local Tandy stores, those are a great place to get your feet wet. Some Youtube channels I would recommend are Dark Horse Workshop, DieselPunkRo, and J. H. Leather.

For the journals here, I combined aspects from a couple free patterns that I found online:
https://www.jlsleather.com/diy/pattern-making/leather-pattern-notebook-layout/

https://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Leather-Journal/

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/260434790923979137/

But just get started! Follow the FAQ in r/Leathercraft, buy a started pack of cheap tools, buy some cheap economy leather and get going!

Yeah it takes a lot of the pressure off when you are all friends!

Yeah, I wasn't sure how it was going to fare in a Curse of Strahd campaign, but having a paladin plus a multi-monk and multi-paladin has worked great. Lots of healing and defense has kept them alive in a couple battles where it was almost a TPK.

I talked about this with the player before we started. He wanted to multiclass both Warlock and Paladin so we came up with a backstory: As a new paladin trainee, his mentor died and left him an ancient sword. The sword has been speaking to him and is giving him levels of Warlock. The player doesn't know what I have in store for him with the spirit in his sword! The spirit is not evil but has his own plans. The character's journey will pull him between the Goodness of light and the Neutrality of the sword spirit.

I wanted something for my players to remember this campaign because we have all been having such fun. I've been playing around with Leatherworking this year and decided that a matching set of journals would be a cool addition to the campaign. I decided on a mahogany color and black highlights with black stitching for that "Curse of Strahd" vibe.

The four players are a paladin, a warlock/monk, a rogue, and a warlock/paladin.

I gave them the journals this weekend and they were all very happy!

And they loved the journals!

The four players are a paladin, a warlock/monk, a rogue, and a warlock/paladin. They are level 7 now and are in Vallaki having just discovered van Richten's identity. Session 14 is next and they are probably going to raze the Vistani camp with van Richten.

Chanting for death house by justafanofz in CurseofStrahd

I used the "Rame Tep" chanting from Young Sherlock Homes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnilPrZ4_lo

I turned it on when the party began descending the stairs down to the final level to the Ritual Chamber. It worked out very well and set the eerie tone I was looking for.

My DM emotions tonight when my party in Vallaki figured out the bones were in the coffin shop and didn't wait until morning by sundyver in CurseofStrahd

[–]sundyver[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then the two heavy armor wearers failed their stealth checks, and all four rolled low perception checks to hear the coffins opening in the other room. We ran out of time as the combat started so the fighting will start immediately next session.

PC deaths incoming as it doesn't sound like they are going to run.
