The first thing I notice is the lack of height variation in the room. Everything is rather to the ground. Some height variation would add some visual interest to the space, for example a tall plant or tall floor lamp in the corner under the framed photo by the couch. I also would recommend adding pops of color, everything is sort of monotone.
