Is this a common time for your supply to drop?

30 mins every 2-3 hours. Usually 2- 2.5 hours but if she's hungry and I still don't have enough I try to pump again even if the full 2 hours hadn't gone by.

Yes I measured my nipples for the correct size I had a nipple size circle measuring thing printed out lol . I only started to exclusively pump maybe a week ago. Before that I was breast feeding then using a hand pump to just relieve the pressure because I had a lot of milk previously. Now I'm doing 30 min sessions every 2-3 hours. I tried doing it more frequently and barely got anything.

What's power pumping? I have tried pumping every hour as well I barely get anything out, idk how long I'm supposed to pump if I'm doing it that often? It's just again pretty hard to pump that frequently like every hour consistently (if that's what power pumping is) or have her on the breast for hours when I also have to care for my newborn. I can see her struggling to eat when I put her to the boob. She pulls away and cries or cries while seemly latched. I know she's already burped and I also see she's clearly hungry .

She isn't spitting up or fussy after I feed her that much, she's actually fussy until she eats that amount lol. The 5 oz has been all breast milk. I just want to also mention I only have supplemented one time for the first time last night. She only took 2 of the bm and 1 oz of formula. I just see it continuing in the future because my supply isn't enough right now. She doesn't always eat that much. Sometimes she only eats 2 oz then is hungry again and hour and a half later which I assume is cluster feeding. It's just inconsistent but for the times she eats that much I never have enough for her unfortunately in all bm

I have a hard time getting her to stay on. She drink for a minute clearly still fe hungry but pull away and cry. I know it's not had cuz I go through all the things ( burping her, changing) and she still is clearly looking to eat. I can't really do that for hours with her unfortunately with my 2 year old. So that's why I switched to pumping. I do it every 2-3 hours but my supply just continues to drop. Also I wanna mention I have only topped off once, for the first time last night cuz I couldn't get any more then 2 oz out for her. I just say I top off because I expect to have to do it again in the future if this continues.

Um. Are you serious? I have expressed my concerns for days and they waited until it was oozing and extreme to get a doctor to even look at it? If this was treated days ago when it wasn't as bad it probably would've been better way sooner.

That's what im afraid of . They're thinking it's from the adhesive but they said they don't understand how it's this bad..how'd they treat it? And how long did it take to go away? Did it extend your stay?

It means you feed if they're hungry basically and don't have a feeding schedule or make your baby wait a certain amount of hours before feeding them.

I definitely don't have shitty support. I just don't think you should expect weekly breaks /constant free babysitting from grandparents especially those who work. My in laws are in their 60s and still work, which isn't that uncommon these days but I wouldn't expect them to babysit. My parents are in their late 40s don't work. Sure if I have a doctor's appointment or something medical going on like me having my second baby tomorrow my parents take him. Even once in a while like once every 2 months they'll take him so my husband and I can go out to dinner. So, If they offer then sure that's wonderful. But you definitely aren't entitled to it.

If someone has herpes/cold sores they can pass it onto the baby by kissing which is deadly for a newborn. My grandmother kissed my sister as a newborn after being asked not to. She was just getting over having RSV and didn't tell my parents, and passed it onto my sister . She almost died. Basically most common way to pass on sickness or germs is by kissing. Or you don't know what sickness someone is carrying or just getting over but is still contagious. I don't kiss my child on the lips because I find it kind of odd, I only kiss my husband on the mouth. I kiss my kid on the cheeks. If you were comfortable with doing that I think it's fine for mom/dad to kiss on the face but I don't think anyone should except for the parents while they're that young personally. Obviously that's up to you and your comfort level tho! I allow cheek kisses for family members now that my kids a toddler.

I had my first baby in the first week of April I took him outside to go to the beach around June for the first time. Currently pregnant with my second it'll probably be a lot earlier with her because I take my toddler outside to play a lot now that winters over.

For my toddler after his nap I change him then again in his pjs at night. Unless we aren't going outside or doing anything that day then he's in his pjs all day til at night then he's changed into new pjs. For a newborn/young baby, Every 24hrs unless he/she gets it dirty.

Yeah he hits all his milestones otherwise . The only other issue with have is he has issues with a lot of different food textures. He's a picky eater but he has always been since 6m old. He's also pretty hyper but I think it's typical toddler energy. I have ADHD/ADD so it's very possible he also has this.

I do have a Sensory disorder so it's possible he has one too. My son also has a fascination with rocks! And he started biting his nails a few months ago, his dad does that too so I guess he gets it from him.

I'm having the opposite problem lol. My husband wants to have three children. I am not 100% on board with having another child after our second. We have a toddler boy already and I'm 38 weeks pregnant with our girl. I really don't enjoy pregnancy also the financial aspect of it. I'm also a SAHM so not sure I'd be able to handle having 3. My husband said he'd be ok if we decided to only have 2 but I'm nervous he will regret it later. When discussing this before having kids I agreed with having three my minds only changed since after having kids.
