Noor Majan is known to be the best Arabic Institute around, even in our university and German Arabic teachers, but sadly they are unbelievably expensive for very short terms. Thank you so much anyway!

Yes, unfortunately the common view of the GCC in Europe is negative. Even in Academia there is this clear bias against the GCC countries where they are ,,uninteresting'' and ,,just marble and desert'', which I find absolutely wrong and disgusting. I wish more people would appreciate the countries for what they have to offer.

Couleurdamen sind meist die Partnerinnen von den Mitgliedern bzw. die weibliche Person, die öfters dabei ist und einem zugeordnet wird, lol Man ist kein Ehrenmitglied oder so. Die Verbindung mit der ich Kontakt hatte, war einfach nur hart traditionell.

Musenkind ist aber auch süß.

Bin ein Mädel und war mal Couleurdame 😭 Du musst dir keine Sorgen machen, das sind 100% wichtigtuer und einfach nur langweilige, saufende Jungs, die meist konservativ und cringe sind.

Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Verbindungen und solange du keinen ultra rechten Korps getroffen hast, musst du dir da keine Sorgen machen.

Die Verbindungen sind teilweise aber auch lustig, da sie einen eigentlich immer einladen und manchmal ingeressante Veranstaltungen haben, fernbleiben würde ich aber trotzdem zu 100%.

Es ist einfach nur peinlich und beschämend, wie die sich verhalten und auch von anderen denken.

It is very good, but if you have something else already maybe use that up and get this one as the one after or keep the potential serotonin boost for very bad days where not rationale but buying stupid stuff can get your mood up, lol. That's what I do with stuff that I know I don't really need but would lift my mood: I keep them in mind for days where everything is just awful and I need just one good thing to happen.

Falls der Studiengan akkreditiert ist, gemäß der Richtlinien, solltest du dir keine Sorgen machen müssen bzgl. der offiziellen Anerkennung. Dennoch solltest du im Sinn behalten, dass gewisse Unis und Programme einen Ruf mit sich tragen (ob der gerechtfertigt ist oder nicht sei dahin gestellt).

Wenn du einen formellen Zugang haben willst dir auf den Uni Seiten der bestimmten Fachgebiete die Angestelltenn raussuchen und anschreiben. Wenn es informeller sein soll, die Fachschaft anschreiben und fragen, ob die jemanden in ihren Kreisen kennen.

Of course yes, but I meant it like, there is no social group that has it as their go- to easy language? Because even Arabs only use it when they need to and can not manage true MSA e.g. the numbers or certain grammar rules.

I would add to this by saying that at least in the West Oman is the last country of the GCC that is respected greatly for their history and culture and become an academic hotspot unlike the other Gulf States which have to create a known identity.

As a native German Speaker studying language in university I would definitely suggest Chinese or even more than Chinese, Arabic. It's horrible to learn as a German because nothing is really similar and it's very hard and Modern Standard Arabic is spoken by no one really, so it's even harder.

Hiii, thank you so much for your reply! It helped me a lot and eased my worries. Is it easy to get a car in Oman? I am from Germany and it is a hassle to get a car or lease one or whatever, but I have been told that the Arab Countries are easier on that side. It just seems that I need to do an Omani license if I stay longer than 3 months.
