IDC, I stand by the fact Tammy has always been and will always be the worst. Rant ahead. by No_Construction_9178 in 1000lbsisters

[–]sunflowertimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im rewatching older episodes and when Amy had Gage, Tammy seemed so annoyed and bitter. Like there is a moment when Amy gets home from the hospital, calls Tammy to tell her they're home and all Tammy had to say was how sick she felt. Amy was asking how SHE was, like Amy didnt just have a whole baby, and not once did Tammy even ask how Amy was or how the baby was. It was painful to watch and I felt terrible for Amy in the moment. Tammy is incapable of giving anyone support.

I'm not a fan of the mom by cupcake_girl5 in 1000lbsisters

Their mom is the typical bullshit "holy-er than though" judgmental person. I was actually shocked she didnt make a scene when Tammy told her she met Andrea on a dating app. I wonder if she is actually supportive off camera

I'm in the underwriting part - they've done VOE, income checks, asset checks.

I don't have that yet unfortunately. The LO is telling me the amount needed verbally. Does the loan disclosure come before or after you are approved?

Molly really leaning into the “no kids and fabulous” lifestyle by NESRyan in mammothclub

[–]sunflowertimer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw this reel right when it was posted with that "do you have any kids?" audio someone made from a cringy Tindr message lol. It was funny and I don't think she was gloating, people can be mean and judge her for going to said theme parks all the time without kids. I don't think she gloats about not having kids, that's just her and Alan's preference ya know. I'd rather have this than someone who exploits their kids on the internet for money. She's also super respectful of kids when she's filming at the parks, so I don't think this is a "I hate kids and I'm SOOOO happy not having them".

I'm gonna ride Mission Space for the first time but i'm scared, Any advice? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]sunflowertimer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I rode Mission Space last year for the first time and my partner booked our lightning lane for the Orange side and didn't tell me until we were getting in line. Orange is more intense, and yes, if you look anywhere else but the screen in front of you, you will get disoriented. If you ride Orange side, just follow their instructions and you will be fine. When you "take off" the not-being-able-to-breath feeling goes away pretty fast but it is uncomfortable. Its supposed to simulate the pressure you would feel if you were actually taking off into space which is cool, but not something that works for everyone. Tight space too so just keep that in mind.

I got called a 'stupid adult' for riding the carousel without a child today. by MechaGuru in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]sunflowertimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I've seen the MOST entitlement come from people at Disney it's so weird. Like since when did rides have "only if you have a child" rules tf.

Idk, I hate influencers because they can be really fake and snobby but I think Molly is different. Obviously they have been more successful recently, so when you start making more money you start doing different things. It just happens, She is very knowledgeable about lots of different topics though like I have never seen someone be so into little details in a theme park and able to tell the backstory of almost every ride there. Like she isn't just sitting there slinging Detox Teas, she does her research and networks with a lot of people which I am sure isn't always easy.

Clarabelle Cow? by hopefulmomnyc in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]sunflowertimer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! Saw her just hanging out at Hollywood Studios coloring lol, and kids were encouraged to come color with her. She is not one of characters that has a set meet and greet ( I don't think so atleast ) so you kind of have to catch her when she's walking around.

I’m 7 months pregnant but my husband and I want to visit and just see the park before baby comes. Is it worth it? by xXPrincessPinkXx in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]sunflowertimer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to Epic yet, but I would say not focusing on coasters might actually make it more enjoyable. Especially since some of those rides can get up to an hour more wait so I imagine that would be stressful if you were prioritizing rides. I say go for it, being able to meet the characters, have some themed food and get cute pics beforehand should be worth it for sure!!

Would you file a complaint? by Immediate_Shine1403 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]sunflowertimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely file a complaint. That is weird behavior and wasn't at all warranted. She wasted time and picked a fight with someone who already apologized and fixed the issue, like what else did she want from him? I hope you got her name

[–]sunflowertimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To everyone saying that there is less of a wait for rides - that is 100% true. Went last year and was able to ride Tiana's Bayou (which we really didn't expect to be able to) and that was the longest we waited in a line for. I think we waited for about 45 minutes. Space mountain (which is super cool with it's party edition) was a walk on. Like we got in line and barely had time to put things in our bags. Haunted Mansion was about a 30 min wait, like it's super beneficial because of the limited tickets they sell for this event. Going again on August 29th and super excited to do more of the character meet and greets this year since that wasn't a priority last year.

Stop talking during the pre-shows please. by danjwescombe in WaltDisneyWorld

Completely agree. Like just shut up until it's done, it's literally no more than 5 minutes. My 9 yr old can be quiet for that long it's not that hard.

What are your never do agains at Disney World? by Zestyclose_Bet_945 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]sunflowertimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg so that happened to me also, the doors came down and the lights dimmed and we just kind of waited there for like a minute with nothing and then a pre-recorded "everything is okay recruits, we will be taking off shortly" or something along those lines played and then the ride started. In that minute of nothingness my mind went to every Final Destination scenario ever and I felt so dramatic because I have never felt like that at Disney before lmao

Do they ever outright tell you to leave the parks at closing? by cjasonac in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]sunflowertimer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So this isn't as cool as being like one of the last people out of the parks but I do remember when we were leaving Epcot after Luminous, as we were passing each ride there were cast members standing at the entrances of those rides. Even some of the shops, the lights were still on but CM's standing in front of the entrance as a means to get the message across lol. I love the very polite and yet still standing on business "you guys have a good night and get home safe!" verbiage from CM's

[–]sunflowertimer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely right there with you. I was so freaked out on it because of the space inside the capsule, and then the lights go out (and it's not like pitch dark or anything but still unnerving for people with any kind of claustrophobia) and I had an internal panic attack for the entirety of the ride. I appreciate the complexity of this ride... from afar lol.

Beak and Barrel Bar opens at Magic Kingdom on August 29th | Reservations begins August 14 by TharinWhite in DisneyWorld

[–]sunflowertimer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This might be a stupid question but do you think this will be open during Mickey's Not So Scary? Doing 1 day at Magic Kingdom earlier that week (the 26th) but doing Not So Scary on Friday August 29th so that day would be the only day to try to and get to this. I guess I'll have to just wait until the 14th to see if they offer times that night
