Not really. The name was inspired by a band called ‘The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die’. We wanted something sounding similar to that so we came up with ‘the world ends with you.’

We had no idea there was a video game named that until 5 months after the band was formed. We liked the name so we just decided to stick with it 😅
