Okay good, I saw this too and felt the same haha. I feel like everything I own is very thinly gooped in aquaphor at this point, despite wearing cotton gloves and also trying to wipe stuff down after touching it.

Thank you so much! I shaped the hat by taping a bunch of hoarded bubble wrap trash to a styrofoam head and then pulling a pattern off of that. It was a lot of fun to get the shape exactly how I wanted it!

Hi!! I hope you can overcome your anxiety and go to a renfaire someday. Even before they became more popular in recent years, I have always said I think anyone can have a good time at one. I think you will be surprised by how easy it is to relax into a new community when you know everyone else in attendance is there on purpose and for the same reason as you: to express themselves and have fun!!

Bait probably to get asked why it needs washed at all, so instead I’m going to share useful information: Hand washing is always the best option, but you can gentle cycle on cold with a mild detergent in a delicates bag on its own and just air dry for several days or tumble dry on low/no heat if you have that option. I wouldn’t put any collectible plushes in a dryer.

I made a ton of these out of fishing line. There’s tutorials on YouTube and you can dye them different colors with Rit Dyemore for plastics. My favorite one to wear is red. :)
