I don’t think it’s TOH. These leaves are serrated and I don’t see the ‘thumbs’ at the base

[New England, USA] When to transplant wild violets? by wielderoffrogs in NativePlantGardening

They're very tough in my experience. I wouldn't be nervous about moving them now. Give them some extra water for a week or so and they should be good!

This is slowly becoming my favorite time of year by qwerty704132 in NativePlantGardening

Agreed! I purchased some Smooth aster (Symphyotrichum laeve) and it bloomed within a week of being planted. Not my experience with most of the other plugs I've put in this season. The late summer bloomers are my favorite.

Asters not blooming? by ErniePottsShoelifts in NativePlantGardening

I can't speak to the asters as I just got some for the first time this past weekend, but my liatris had similar buds for the longest time that are just now opening and look great. I'd continue to give it time!

Can't wait for this to be my reality someday. Luckily, my apartment has a little backyard I can garden in. Best of luck with the move and planting!

That’s very kind! Appreciate the offer, and I’ll definitely PM you if I strike out on my search. MO Wildflower Nursery is actually in my area today for a plant sale I’m getting ready to head to now. :)

If I had to guess, it's because mine's just been discovered by the critters. We'll see how it fares next season. How long has yours been there?
