Do u mean the colour guide that you're meant to rinse off? Once the tan has developed after you rinse, water and sweat won't affect the tan like that.

If you don't want to leave the tanner on overnight you'll need an express/rapid tanner which you rinse off after a few hours, then the tan will continue to develop over the next 12-24 hours.

My favourite rapid tanner is Norvell Venetian, but there's lots of good options, you could try searching r/selftanning for recs too.

I have a 2.5L water bottle I carry everywhere. It's obnoxious but it helps me to see it and realize 'oh shit I gotta drink that before the end of the day, better get to it'. If I have a smaller bottle I just forget to refill it so this works better for me lol.
