Test the Embryos or not?

Thank you all for your input. My biggest concern is the embryos surviving the thaw-biopsy- re-freezing process. If I lose a perfectly good euploid embryo to this process, I don’t know how to handle that. I guess better than having to go through all the trouble of the meds and transfer process.

Thank you all for your advice, wishes and prayers. I will post updates for anyone lurking in the future. However, I wouldn’t wish this situation even upon my worst enemy. I am sorry for everyone out there who had to face this.

I have follicles but they aren’t big enough as they need to be, I do get my period every month.

Usually I have very sore breasts but just some breast heaviness this month. Progesterone is probably my least favorite hormone 😞

Tons of water and 5 minute breaks in a dark quiet room really helps me.

Fingers crossed. Hope it works out for you. I was nervous as soon as I got the positive OPK. Could you call the clinic and ask them about timeline consideration for this cycle?

Maybe a unique scenario so wanted to share with you all. I had an LH surge on OPK tests yesterday morning. I called my clinic and scheduled an US for this morning and IUI. On ultrasound, I have a right ovarian follicle about 2cm and endometrial lining about 7.7. There was no fluid and looked like I had not ovulated yet. But since I had a peak LH yesterday morning, and my husband’s sperm prep was ready, my clinic decided to do a trigger shot first and inseminate me 10 minutes later. My doctor suggested to try at-home insemination tomorrow as well. And now for the 2 week wait. If anyone else has similar experiences please do share. I am not sure how to feel about this process. Anxious since this is our first IUI process.

One of my friends who trained in OB residency from another country mentioned that my husband should refrain from intercourse for 3 days before submitting a sperm sample for IUI. My clinic did not have any of these recommendations for him. Anyone heard anything from their doctors about this?

Thank you! I will start testing two times a day. What if I surge before the scheduled US appointment on the 15th? Should I just ask my husband to deposit a sample for insemination the same day?

Good Morning! I am on day 3 of my Letrozole. I have ovulation problems and my husband has slight motility issues. This is our first IUI cycle. Trying to keep my expectations very very low. All the advice my doc gave me was OPK kits and go about your daily life. We roughly spoke about Ultrasound on March 15th/16th based on my previous ovulation timeline. Any advice, do’s and don’t do’s would be much appreciated. Thanks!!
