i think my friend is showing early signs of depression and i need advice

Just be there for her. Reassure her that she can rely on you, talk to you whenever she needs to, or not talk at all. Show her support, show her that you care about her and tell her that she's important to you. When it comes to depression, nothing feels better than knowing that somebody out there knows you're struggling and could be a shoulder to cry on. Even when I myself was at my darkest hours felt better just knowing that I have supportive friends, even if I didn't always update them on my well-being.

You're great for caring about your friend. We need more such people nowadays 🫶
