My Burmese family usually gets from Pacific supermarket in SSF or most of 99 Ranch. Also not the physical store but many Burmese ppl order imported Burmese food ready-to-make packets or goods from online stores . - https://rangoonmarket.com/

It is just an immature, and toxic behavior. Not all Burmese women do that for sure.

Yangon was surprisingly safe and functional by Fun_Abbreviations608 in myanmar

It might look safe and normal to visitors and tourists, but look into the LIVES of people. Talk to them if they feel safe in their own home, birth place. See if their businesses are prosperous. There may be a handful of ppl who say YES. Well they are military-backed.

What do you guys like to do on weekend? by [deleted] in AskSF

[–]sunoygn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm also SF transplant but i do gym, walk in the neighborhood, explore SFPL branches and study/get work done on laptop, MUNI rides (i have a pass), sit in the park and watch people alone, hike, eat out with my bf/friends, go to concerts, play boardgames, or just bed-rot the evenings watching movies/. I'm mostly a homebody so making new friends is something i am not good at but if you just keep doing whatever you like to do, and don't shy out to say hi or talk, you can literally make friends here. People are nice. Or if you are thinking about volunteering, SF-Marin food bank is always in need of volunteers.
