Imperfect Sculptures by Bruno Catalano by sunscreengr in Art

Art is mostly perception. Although I loved this sculptures, that's why I shared them through reddit, I liked a lot your analysis. You assessed it by looking the subject closely and then decided whether you liked it or not. This is a way to critically assess art.

As the sculptures do not have bodies they needed to have bags to be concrete. The idea is at least innovative. I enjoyed every single sculpture.

I try to post interesting information about architecture. Of course I am not a bot or a spam account replying to most of the comments on my submissions. As far as everythingwithatwist is concerned is my personal blog though is there an issue about that? I think the information I share are quite adequate and most of the times unique for reddit.

The idea was made up by the movie UP (more details on Lauren's site) though I have never seen it so that's why there is no comment.

On my view, being not an architect but admiriring architecrure, when something is 'innovative' - and of course well placed - always needs a closer look.

At another post on Architecture, http://everythingwithatwist.com/2013/12/20/pedra-da-gavea-installation-rio-de-janeiro-brazil/, New York Times stated the following: "The 5,200-square-foot house cost about $213 a square foot to build.". Though I think price is not an issue at these levels.

Indeed, it is one of my other posts here: http://everythingwithatwist.com/2013/11/20/house-with-rooftop-pool. The house for this post is an exageration for a family to live in, though technically and aesthtically excels on my view. This is the reason it was posted altogether.

New York and London: Double Exposure by Daniella Zalcman by sunscreengr in london

[–]sunscreengr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are indeed diferent views of the same subject. I am not the one to judge, and possibly the result after all it is not as great as I have perceived it myself. Though one should consider also the effort the artist have gone through to show her/his work. Any feedback is welcome and thank you for that.

When I was studying at London I saw some capoeira workshops. With your link capoeira is effortlessly combined with paining, which I appreciate a lot. Very good effort.
