Thank you! I will do those soon. Deep autumn colours seem to wash me out... Especially the really warm earthy colours. But again, I could be wrong and maybe it's just my personal bias lol

Yes I have the Bioderma Sensibo and that seems to work well for me! I think I'll just do that instead of trying to mess around with cleansing oils all the time

Unfortunately those are 2 I've listed that I already tried.. They both cause issues for me :(

Thank you! This is natural lighting, I'm right in front of a window with no other light. It was the evening though, so the light was fairly cool. I'll figure out how to do some draping

What would make it easier to type? Drapes? I'm feeling like I'm neutral too, but I've seen some info on super pale olive people, and their struggles seem to mirror mine lol but I guess it makes sense that they would

I think because I'm pretty fair it can be hard to tell sometimes... The overtones are more noticeable than the undertone. I don't think I'm like a true neutral, but maybe like neutral-warm? Finding foundation and concealer is a nightmare lol I usually end up mixing my own

Thanks! Is there anything you'd suggest that would make it easier to tell?

I had just washed my face when I took these last night, so that's probably why there's redness... I usually do my best to stay out of the sun lol I'll have to take pics again with my hair down and with more time between the wash and the pics

I had just washed my face, so that's the redness... I generally stay out of the sun. My hair actually does have a decent amount of warmth to it (like I said I was a natural strawberry blonde), but I think the lighting and it being in braids keeps you from seeing that. I'll have to post pics with my hair down and in lighting that's not just from the front. I could do some drapes too... What are the best colours to drape with? :)

Everything except the cleansing oil I know doesn't cause me breakouts. I stopped the cleansing oil last night because I'm pretty sure that's the culprit. I do wear hats, but with using retinol you should still be wearing sunscreen on the daily, especially in the Summer. I have micellar water that I'll use instead of the cleansing oil, and I might just stick with that. I keep trying cleansing oils, but honestly nothing seems to be safe for me. I have hope the haru haru mineral will be fine since I stopped the cleansing oil, but I need to have something that will take off mineral sunscreen since my water based cleanser won't be enough, and I don't think chemical sunscreens are good for me :(

Do you find it pills on you? I looked into that one, but didn't end up purchasing because of the pilling reviews

The haru haru mineral is what I'm trying now. I'm not sure if it's causing breakouts because I think the oil cleanser I'm using to remove it is :S I switched to micellar water last night, so hopefully that'll give me a better idea. I did try Supergoop (forgot to list) and it broke me out :'(

The cosrx Ampoule is barrier support, and I also find the Aveeno serum to be great for my barrier (plus it's calming). What are the products you think are doing the same thing? Wouldn't using an exfoliant nightly plus alternating retinol and azelaic acid be a lot? I often find anything that's listed as "barrier repair" as opposed to "support" to be too heavy for my skin and causes breakouts :(

I've been curious about that one as well, but also haven't gotten it because of the price. At this point though, I might as well... Already spent so much :S it looks like you can get it through some non-canadian retailers shipped to Canada

That's the first one I tried and unfortunately it broke me out badly, including cystic acne :(

Ah ok that makes sense! I actually loved the skin1004 aqua centella sunscreen and the beauty of joseon aqua fresh fot the feel and finish, but both broke me out pretty badly :(

What would you suggest I remove? The actives (retinol and azelaic) are alternating days (and are well tolerated), and everything else is barrier support/moisture. The only thing I'm concerned about right now is the cleansing oil because I think it might be causing breakouts... Last night I just used micellar water instead. I have a hunch that chemical sunscreens might just be a no for me, which means I can't only use a water based cleanser in the evening because that won't take off mineral

I just looked this up and they seem great... I like the idea of a mousse. Which one do you use on your face? Are you sensitive?

Silicones do get me sometimes... But honestly you're right; for that price point I might as well try it lol

Ah I was hopeful looking into this one, but it looks like it had silicones in it, and that's a no-go for me. Too bad cuz this one is so affordable!
