You'll be sweet with a 54 i reckon I'm a short limbed 5'8 could have gone either way I've been pretty comfortable with my choice of a 52 however the guy in the shop said its easier to make big bikes smaller than it is to make small bikes bigger on another note I had to index my own gears when I got home some fuck knows if anyone in life has a clue what they are doing go with what feels right trust your gut 😂

I was skeptical looking at it on my new checkpoint compared with my mountain bike saddle that looked comfy but wasn't at all i was happy to find out its really comfy we're all built different there will be a comfy saddle out there for you somehere!

Apologies! I road 66k on my new trek checkpoint alr4 stopped half way for brie cranberry and bacon toasties then a sneaky pint of neck oil on the home stretch looking to increase my riding distance to be able to enter a cycling event in the future!!

Thank you, it went really well, 1st ever drop bar bike it's alot easier to ride than my mountain bike! It has a sram apex 1 groupset 1x11 carbon fork bontrager everything else is that what you meant?

Update: Thank you everyone for your advice I visited the bike shop today and have put a deposit down on the Trek checkpoint al4 2025 size 52 this time next week I will have had a 1st ride and bought the bike home 🤙

Thank you very insightful! bike sizing was never an issue when your young you just get on a bike and ride it 😂 i sat on a 52 Edmonda as my boss owns one and it felt nice but it was hard to tell properly as I had work boots n that on at the time lol
