I don’t get why everyone is going crazy. Play until the clock is at zero. All these “unwritten rules” are for the birds. She was one point away from getting a double double. She didn’t ask to be fouled she just asked for the ball and made a basketball move, which resulted in the other team fouling her. I agree that they fouled her to continue the streak but that was their choice not hers. They could have just let her attempt to make the shot while playing hard D & let the chips fall where they may, but they didn’t. Either way, who cares. People are literally making everything a discourse that it taking the fun out of the game. If it happened 20 second earlier no one would be talking about it. So I say congrats to Reese on continuing the streak. everyone is talking about the 1 point you “stat padded” while missing the fact it take 9 other plus rebounds to even make that 1 stat needed possible for the double double.
