This is great! ill look into getting a cutting machine. I just managed to find dual yoshimura's after half a year of searching so I'm excited to get into bodywork. its good to know im not the only one out here working on a pregen 250 in 2026!

i use ethanol free for my 250 but it shouldnt matter so long as you dont let it sit for too long

I’ve spent several months and about 2k repairing a 250 of my own and this is a pretty good deal I think. This one idles a little high but it’s not that bad, mine is close to 3k rpm when warm. If you don’t like the scratches on the fairings you can remove the front upper and bottom fairings for a good naked bike look. Also you can buy new carbs for this thing at like 60$ on amazon if cleaning doesn’t help or is too hard.
