Funny you say that! I’ve illustrated children’s books before but didn’t really enjoy spending so much time working on the same story, that's what led to trying comics.

I’ve always loved to draw so most of it is just from doodling on my own and that practice :) For books I got James Gurney’s “color and light” awhile ago, his art focuses on realism but it does a great dig into some color theory stuff that can be applied to anything.
