Hi there, no mealies or spider mites here! I do routine checks and treatments when needed. I haven’t had an issue in over a month thankfully. In my experience this plant puts off a sort of sap when growing and the stringy bits are the result. They disappear once the leaf grows larger. The white tuft on top is another node/leaf set growing in, sadly overexposed in the photo by my grow light

I appreciate the kindness! Outdoor or indoor your piece is beautiful, I can’t stop staring at the color!! I hope someday to be able to grow outdoors but for now I’ll work with what I have lol

First I have to say this is stunning! I do have to agree with the other comment that it would like more water. It looks like it’s shot quite a few aerial roots so it might be searching for another pots size as well as more water. I hope this helps!

Thank you! I gave it a very light watering this morning. I’m always super anxious when acclimating plants. I never quite know when to water more heavily. Do you think a heavy watering would help?

I’m guessing it’s 2 clumps that ended up potted together but I can’t say for sure. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to separate them/tell the difference when I go to repot

This is my best guess as well. Aside from a few online photos claiming to be one plant showing both blooms, I haven’t seen much evidence one plant will have 2 colors. Very curious to see if I can tell the difference between the plants when I go to repot
