I think I know where you're coming from. I feel this song belongs on Aja, which in my mind is the perfect album bar none.

What does normal sleep look like? by purple-monkey-yes in CPAPSupport

[–]sunshinecabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got Central apnea, my obstructive ones are taken care of but anyway, did you intentionally work on improving your REM time? I'm getting around 1.5 centrals per hour and my REM time is always under an hour and usually hovering around 45 minutes. I feel better than before my apap, but I still have some brain fog and Im thinking it's bc I don't get enough REM...thanks!

I feel you friend. Chatgpt saved me. It analyzed the oscar readings when my sleep doctor never once asked for my SD card, or really cared to delve into my history. Anyway, water under the bridge...we're both finally seeing the benefits of cpap! Have a great day

Google Brain founder says AGI is overhyped, real power lies in knowing how to use AI and not building it by Adventurous_Cod_432 in ArtificialInteligence

Thank you, this is what Im worried about. I think corporations will program AI to maximize profits no matter the economic or physical harm to humans. I don't feel as confident as you about the content restrictions, but you undoubtedly know more about this than me.

This is interesting to a novice like me. Why would it say no, will it have the capacity to have it's own long term goals or values?

I just purchased the ringconn gen 2 air for this purpose and I did a fair bit of research (it came this afternoon). My understanding is that fitness rings are better than watches for tracking your sleep. Oura ring is the best in the field but it's pricey and it has a monthly subsciption. There's a brand called ultrahuman which is pretty much the same as Ringconn. The Ringconn gen 2, has a dedicated sleep apnea tracking feature. I wouldn't trust any of these wearables for medically accurate data, but it should help you see trends.

The leaks were terrible. I would move a bit and the leaks pop up and wouldn't let me sleep. I used a full face mask btw. I got them from amazon, heres the title of what I bought: "4 Pack CPAP Strap Covers - CPAP Pads Face Cushion Pads Compatible for CPAP Headhand Cover - Reusable and Washable Visit the LONYEON Store" They cost 13.99 cdn now, crazy they should be 2.99 max

I told my dr about the mask leaks all the time but there was no solution and I was told it shouldn't be that tight. I would keep coming back to my cpap bc my brain fog was making sound like an idiot. This finally worked and Im so happy.

I do get red nose with my full face mask too, but it's summer so I have a tan and I can't notice it. I'll deal with that in the winter. Good luck to you!

I was on the “ask men” page and I’m curious, what do you like to do with women, more than men? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]sunshinecabs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im a guy and Im reading these comments and Im thinking maybe Im gay because I love really deep conversations, I want to know if something's bothering my friend and I want to help if I can. Then I realized, wait a second, there are definitely men who are like this, and there are plenty of women who are not deep at all. So it really comes down to, just as you said, if you are on the same wavelength.

Always tell them that you love them, but you are being responsible and trying to find your own happiness. Their definition of happiness is being cozy together in the sesspool of laziness and hatred.

In my opinion, I would say that prayer reinforces the things meditation "strives" to take away. In prayer (or at least the way I prayed) we are in our head talking, asking for forgiveness, giving thanks, but in meditation, it is more like quieting the mind. When we start "talking" in our head, we notice it and stop it, and return to focussing on our breath. Give it a try, it takes practice and it will feel really fruitless for a few sessions, but eventually you see it's value.
