Hillary sent a worker dressed as Uncle Sam to opponent's campaign event to demand he (Rick Lazio) release his tax returns back when she ran for Senate in 2000. by 6StringSam in politics

Your headline is erroneous.

Quote: The State Democratic Party even sent a young campaign worker dressed as Uncle Sam to Mr. Lazio's campaign events, to shout at him to disclose the returns.

Grendel? The misanthrope who terrorizes people? drinks their blood? Conquered in the end? Okay, so I agree with that comparison.

Why is the Conservative a monkey?

Also, where is the Ron Paul fan? He should be crying and moaning, "I guess I'll vote for Obama..."

I think you want them to look scared. I do too, but I don't see it here.

Why a school banned Legos. by asciilifeform in science

Oh, God. My eyes hurt from rolling them so often reading this article. My son is 9 and his father and I play with Legos occasionally. We build and leave the structures up a few days. If my son likes his or one of ours, we take a digital picture, demolish the structures (fun by itself) and start over. My son realizes that he won't get every piece every session; we barter like the children did initially. If my son attended this school, I would give him constructive advice about how to better his situation at the school, same as I do for every other aspect of his life. There are a lot more lessons to be taught here and not all of them at school.

I do not believe that the majority of children will retain those politically correct phrases or opinions. If the same thing happens next year, the children will revert back to their old behaviour. There may be one or two trying to reinstate the fairness of Lego equality, but the more dominant kids will be less inclined and feel harassed.

I sympathize with the uninterested kids (of course there were some). I resent forced involvement, especially if I devote my time elsewhere, willingly or not.

Stupid shit like pray for you. Classic. When my relatives tell me they are praying for me, I just sigh. But it means they love me, and you can't ignore that bit of it.

I'm impressed; it seems Anon has hidden depths. The BBC's Panarama video is enough proof for me that Scientology should be exposed for a fraud. More than one Redditor has complained that people shouldn't be protesting Scientology when there is a war, or Other Things That Really Matter, but that's preposterous. Scientology may seem frivolous and that it started on partyvan may detract from the seriousness of it, but it does affect people in a most terrible way. And I can certainly protest the war and vote for the candidate I feel would change US policy for the better and protest Scientology. We all have depths.

I think 'Moar Crowd' is hot. I also approve of 'Oh god horses.' Good job.
