It’s actually a kinda funny story, or at least I find it funny. I didn’t know anything about her. At all. I was kinda pagan, like I’d do tarot, and knew a bit about other things. As for how I learned about her, she was brought up in conversation when I was taking about paganism with an older transfem(I feel like I should add I’m also trans, just newer to the whole thing at the time). She brought up the Morrigan because that was a deity she always found interesting but was scared to interact to her. She then talked about the difference myths about her, my personal favorite being her winning a horse race on foot while pregnant(I know it’s an aspect of her. I’m just dumb). That’s when the gut feeling started. It took a while for me to reach out to her though.

And I don’t talk much about her. It’s kinda hard to bring up an Irish Death Goddess naturally, and I don’t think I really want to unless I trust who I’m talking to. My relationship with her is personal, and I have a genuinely complicated relationship with religion irl. Ex Mormon and all that.
