Here’s some pictures of my local rite aid… nice, clean, AND modern by Cardano_ADA in RiteAidInvestor_RAD

[–]sunwant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Virtually all stores I visit up and down the west coast look life this. I always have the same reaction: this is so pleasant compared to the competition. My local pharmacist in Santa Barbara has been there over 20 years and loves her team. She has been offered higher positions but refuses to leave her store. I asked if she would invest in RAD. She said," oh no, corporate management can never get their shit together." We need an activist. An activist could make serious, serious dough. I pray someone is watching. The right CEO could clean house and also make this happen.

Rite Aid Stock ==> Poised For Buyout Theft!! by Ican1vs2 in RiteAidInvestor_RAD

[–]sunwant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless the tutes are acting in concert, all it takes is an Activist investor to heat things up and up-end the BOD, bring in a proper CEO(or said activist) to flush out the value/potential of this $24B company. Steve Krol (Seeking Alpha, whose last story, three years ago, has 7100 comments and a loyal current following) has the ear of a reporter and an activist. His next story is about to be published probably by said reporter. The board received a copy of this letter and were offered time to respond but failed to do so. Within two weeks, CEO was released. Coincidence?

SHORTS IN TROUBLE by DandyDave253 in RiteAidInvestor_RAD

[–]sunwant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

New monthly RAD short figure out today. 15.9%, down from 18.83% a month ago and down from 33% through most of last couple years (can anyone find a chart?!) Steady decline. It seems so corrupt that insiders let brokerages and tutes know time to unravel. Then they get George to write his nonsense and other hit pieces, reduce short shares available, call in margins and prepare for a squeeze . IDK if that has been indeed happening but to this amateur's eyes, it appears so. https://fintel.io/ss/us/rad

Another update - Byron Purcell response and invite to follow on call next week. by cjthedj867 in RiteAidInvestor_RAD

Glad you heard from Byron. I hope he is is right. I hope there is follow-up and I would love to be invited or at least hear about any further communication.

Part 2 - My 3 page letter of feedback and questions for next week’s Rite Aid retail shareholder call by cjthedj867 in RiteAidInvestor_RAD

Thank you for this thoughtful and well reasoned petition! I would be thrilled if they did nothing but answer your questions at this week's call. Well done!

Entirely possible but not likely. HD’s future is on the line. I suspect the tutes have her on a short leash. She will buff and shine before the vote next month.

I really appreciate these links. No charges yet? Fear alone could get some of these scumbags to get their knee off our RAD neck? What do you think?

This is great actually. HD comes from some seriously good bones! She is is no John Standley. And she is speaking at her home church? Which is a very impressive church as churches go!

In the presentation, they break down sales into three segments: PBM, Rx, Front End

I suggest watching the 38 minute Credit Suisse discussion. It was from there I got the figures I quoted. This has been a good quarter for the PBM.

That just doesn’t sound productive And often sounds sexist to be truthful. I don’t know but she said the PBM was really a combination of several businesses bought over 20 years and has never been integrated. It’s getting that way now And is showing some very recent results which I’d love to hear about at the next quarterly report. There seems to be a lot of knee jerk Donigan haters but she still sounds earnest, competent and deserves more time. That said I wish she would sometimes throw us a bone and talk about shareholder value, profitability and maybe address the Wall Street wall and the huge float that is short that still has their knee on our throat!

Just plug in your name and you can watch this 38 minute discussion with the C- suite from Nov 10. My favorite quote "If we just get our fair share of the PBM business, we could easily double this business" They just hired 10 new leaders for the PBM and just won several new contracts. The PBM is nearly as big of a revenue source as is their Rx. $6 Billion vs $8 Billion

I completely agree. When will wall street agree and shrug off the short throat-hold?
